The need for Flat pack chillers

Many city tower-blocks have multi floor basements housing plant room and server room chillers, which were fitted during their initial construction. Now, 30 years on the chillers need replacing but logistical issues of service lift and stairwell access prevent a straightforward chiller replacement. As a growing concern in city centres, Tricool Thermal have developed flat pack technology.

How Flat Pack Chillers Work

For standard chiller replacements ICS can de-construct a unit, to be re-built and fully tested on site in the required location. Where chiller replacements are non standard Tricool Thermal can manufacture to specific criteria whether physical size, capacity, duty or atex specification, low noise or a combination of these, as the site/application requires. Once manufactured and tested the unit is then broken down into pieces suitable for the sites access routes where it is then reconstructed, tested and commissioned.
